CU Women's Soccer Preview - vs. RIT (9/30)

September is rolling to a close as the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team is in the midst of its conference schedule, with the Golden Knights hosting RIT this Saturday at Hantz Turf Field.

LIVE STATS/LIVE VIDEO

The Series: The rivalry dates back more than three decades, and RIT has a decided advantage with 23 wins and two ties in 31 all-time meetings. Clarkson's last victory came in the Tigers fourth year in the Liberty League, a 1-0 victory in Rochester.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-2-3, 1-0-1 Liberty League): With her goal just 27 seconds into the game against Skidmore on Tuesday, sophomore Camryn Careccia became just the seventh player in program history to score seven or more goals in a season. She currently ranks third in the conference in points (14) and is just one goal off the league pace.

Key Stats for RIT (6-2-1, 0-1-1 Liberty League): Though the Tigers have won six of their nine games overall, they are still winless in conference games. That isn't due to their defense, however, as RIT has allowed just five goals in nine games, with goalkeeper Kelly Rogers posting a 0.55 goals against average and an .857 save percentage.
