The Series: Last year, Vassar won in double overtime against the Golden Knights, ending Clarkson's modest three-game winning streak against the Brewers. Brooklynne Perrigo and Gabby Cranfield were particularly effective on offense, each scoring five points.

Key Stats for Clarkson (10-6, 4-5 Liberty League): Due to tie-breakers over the teams currently at 3-6, the Knights have already gained admittance to the conference tournament beginning next week, though the opponent and location is yet to be determined. Although Clarkson has a solid offense with plenty of weapons, the emergence on defense of Mea Tranquilli has played a key role in Clarkson's league success. Tranquilli had recorded multiple caused turnovers in nine straight games up to the contest against Bard, though the opportunities for turnovers were limited in that game. She ranks first in league-only games in caused turnovers (2.89) and third in groundballs (2.78).

Key Stats for Vassar (6-8, 1-8 Liberty League): Proving that the Liberty League is a tough conference to navigate, Vassar is a perfect 5-0 out of conference and has suffered all eight losses against league foes, ending their winless run against Bard in a midweek contest. Tess Billings ranks fourth in the Liberty League in goals per game (2.93) and has netted 47 total points (41-6-47). Elizabeth Burgess has done the majority of her damage in league, scoring 15 of her 17 goals against conference foes. Defensively, Olivia Del Tatto tops the team in groundballs (30) and is second in caused turnovers (16), trailing only Emily Kallman (23).
