The Series: Clarkson is only 9-26 all-time against the Thoroughbreds, but Clarkson has won four of the past five meetings, including a 14-10 victory a year ago. The Knights are only 3-27 against the Garnet Chargers and have fallen in five straight against them, most recently a 10-7 defeat in 2025.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-2, 3-1 Liberty League): Despite being shutout against William Smith, Clarkson nevertheless leads the conference in scoring offense with 14.3 goals per game, a figure that jumps to 15.9 goals per contest without that loss. The key for Clarkson's offense has been its lack of reliance on any one player. In the past six games, four different players have led the team in goals (with none against the Herons). Morgan Kenna had four RIT this past Saturday, which nearly doubled her output for the year.

Key Stats for Skidmore (5-6, 1-3 Liberty League): The Thoroughbreds are coming off a 23-2 drubbing of Bard College for their first league win, but the previous two contests were close, including a 10-9 defeat to Union. The offense runs through Phoebe Ross, who ranks third in the conference in assists per game (2.27) and whose total of 25 only trails Clarkson's Gabby Cranfield (29). Four different players have scored at least 16 goals for Skidmore, including the team-best from Julia Cafasso (24).

Key Stats for Union (3-4, 2-0 Liberty League): Junior Anna Dembrowski has always been a solid defender, but she has taken her game to a different level in 2026. Dembrowski is averaging 3.00 caused turnovers per game and has a total of 18 so far, recording at least two in every game she has played thus far. Goalkeeper Sydney Widlitz was an impressive performer in her first collegiate season and has been steady throughout her collegiate career. This year, Widlitz has a 10.32 goals against average with a .444 save percentage.
