Taking a final break from Liberty League play before the final three conference contests of the season, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team heads down Route 11 to take on SUNY Canton on Monday afternoon.

The Series: The Golden Knights have won 10 of 12 meetings since the two teams began their rivalry in 2012. Clarkson has won eight straight, including the last four by an average of 14.5 goals per game, though last year's meeting was decided by 10.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-5, 3-4 Liberty League): For only the fifth time in program history, the Golden Knights have five players that have scored 20 goals or more in a season, joining the teams from 2007, 2019, 2022, and 2023. However, this is only the second time that the feat has been accomplished in 13 games or less, joining the 2019 squad. Gabby Cranfield (28), Makenna Cassin (28), Sydney Nakas (23), Karli Scherpf (23), and Brooklynne Perrigo (20) have all reached 20 goals this year.

Key Stats for SUNY Canton (3-8, 1-6 SUNYAC): Kate Whitley has been a strong force on the field for the Kangaroos this year, doing a little bit of everything with seven points, 41 groundballs, 26 caused turnovers, and 20 draw controls. Leading the offense for Canton is Ava Bodnar, who has 30 points on 18 goals and 12 assists, while Caroline Nappi also has a solid line with 10 goals and 14 assists for 24 points. Sydney Dunn (17 goals) and Hailey LaShomb (14 goals) are also frequent scorers for the Roos.
