CU Women's Lacrosse Preview - vs. Brockport (3/7)

A come-from-behind win last Saturday and a lopsided victory on Wednesday have the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team on a modest two-game winning streak, something that the Golden Knights hope will continue when the team takes on Brockport on Saturday afternoon at Hantz Field.

The Series: The Knights have never beaten Brockport, though the opportunities have been infrequent. The two teams have played one another only five times, with four of those coming before the millennium. The two teams last played just prior to the COVID shutdown in March of 2020, with Brockport coming away with an 11-9 win.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-1): Junior Makenna Cassin is off to a strong start in all facets of the game, currently placed tied for second on the team in points (7) and goals (5) while leading the team with 10 groundballs and eight caused turnovers.
