The Series: The Golden Knights are 9-33 all-time against the Engineers, with the last victory having come during the 2019 Liberty League playoffs. Since then, RPI has won four straight (2022-2025), including a comeback 12-11 win a year ago in which the Engineers outscored Clarkson 4-1 in the fourth quarter.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-1): Both teams will be without their top scorers from last year's contest, as Madelynn Barnum had seven points (6-1-7) in the loss for the Golden Knights and Ella Graf had seven points (7-0-7) for the Engineers. Clarkson will look to its junior class for the scoring punch, as Gabby Cranfield looks to maintain her lead in the points per game (6.00) and assists per game (3.00) categories in the Liberty League. Makenna Cassin (12-2-14) and Brooklynne Perrigo (11-0-11) also had big days against Plattsburgh to bolster their offensive numbers.

Key Stats for Rensselaer (3-2): The Engineers have suffered two straight losses, including one to top-25 ranked Williams College. Kacey Pritts is currently tied with Clarkson's Cranfield for the league-lead in assists per game (3.00) and Pritts has a team-best 24 points (9-15-24). Abigail Couzens and Camile Stackhouse are tied for second on the team in points (10-3-13). A season ago, Quinn Wollard had a four-goal game versus the Knights and she has produced eight goals thus far. Emily Speck has been busy in the middle of the field for the Engineers, racking up 21 draw controls and four caused turnovers to go along with her four goals.
