The Series: A year ago, the Knights suffered a 1-0 defeat against Hobart thanks to a goal in the 78th minute by Daniel Spataro. Clarkson was held without a shot on goal in the game and was outshot 11-2 overall.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-3-2, 0-2-1 Liberty League): Still seeking its first win in conference, Clarkson has been able to score in each of its three league games but unable to keep its opponents off the scoreboard. Bodie Smith tallied against RIT, Alper Celik scored early versus Union, and Cole Mueller found the back of the net with a penalty kick score against St. Lawrence. In those three games, Clarkson has outshot its opponents 26-21 overall and 14-12 in terms of shots on goal.

Key Stats for Hobart (8-1-0, 2-1-0 Liberty League): The Statesmen have a throwback weekend awaiting them as they will play back-to-back in the middle of the season, something that rarely occurs in the Liberty League any more. Though he missed the most recent game against Bard, Griffin Coutts has been a key part of the team's offense, being a part of 10 of the team's 17 goals in the first eight games with one goal and nine assists. Brady Leitner leads the team with 12 points on six goals.
