Bella Doyle Named Liberty League Performer of the Week

Over the course of three games this past week Bella Doyle of the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team put up solid numbers in all categories, and she was rewarded for that performance with Liberty Leauge Performer of the Week honors when the conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday aftenroon.

Doyle averaged 15.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.7 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game in a 2-1 week for the Golden Knights. She had 21 points and seven rebounds against Vermont State University-Lyndon on Wednesday, and had 15-point effort against Paul Smith's College on Monday, a game where she also contributed seven rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and four steals.

Through five games this season, Doyle ranks among the Liberty League in virtually every category. She is fourth in points per game (17.2 ppg), seventh in rebounds per game (7.6 rpg), fourth in field goal percentage (46.1%), tied for 11th in assists (3.0 apg), tied for third in blocks (1.8 bpg), and tied for seventh in steals (2.0 spg).

On the men's side, Braeden Burns was chosen for the Liberty League Honor Roll.
