Griffin Named Liberty League Performer of the Week

Junior guard/forward Fallon Griffin of the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team was selected as the Liberty League Performer of the Week when the conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday afternoon.

Griffin averaged 20.0 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per contest over the weekend, shooting just under 50% from the floor overall. She posted a career-high 26 points on 10-for-19 shooting against Ithaca on Friday and then tossed in 14 points on 6-for-14 shooting against RIT on Saturday. Her 26 points on Friday were the most by any Clarkson player in a game over the last three seasons.

For the season, Griffin ranks third in the Liberty League in scoring average (13.3 ppg) and is also third in 3-point field goals made with 38.
