With February approaching, the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team plays host to Bard College and Vassar College, Friday and Saturday, in the second-to-last Liberty League homestand series of the year.

The Series: Clarkson earned a narrow 54-45 win at Bard on January 10th led by a career-high 16 points from freshman Alexis Kress. The Knights received just six points off the bench but never trailed through the duration of the contest. The matchup with Vassar on the 9th of January resulted in a 40-61 loss for Clarkson. Maddy Polky and Bella Doyle scored 15 and 10 points apiece but none of the four other scorers for Clarkson managed to tally above five points.
Key Stats for Clarkson (7-10, 3-7 Liberty League): Fallon Griffin was tabbed as the Liberty League Performer of the Week following her outings against Ithaca and Bard. The junior averaged 20 points through the two games, shooting just under 50% from the field. Key Stats For Bard (3-14, 1-9 Liberty League): The Raptors are coming off the back of an 0-2 weekend, dropping games to Skidmore and Vassar. The team scored a combined 63 points through the two days with the 29 scored on Friday marking a season-low against DIII opponents. Morgan Kottka accounted for 14 of the team's points against Skidmore and added eight on Saturday for an 11-point average over that stretch, the first-year is entering the weekend averaging 7.3 points a game.
Key Stats for Vassar (8-8, 7-2 Liberty League): The Brewers enter the weekend having won three of their last four Liberty League contests including a 54-52 victory over first-place Union on January 17th. Sierra McDermed had a team-high 13 points in the team's last win over Bard, the senior is second on the team in scoring up to this point, averaging 12.4 points per game. Maureen Regan ranks third in the league with a team-best 38 steals through 16 games played.
