Knights Take Second in Sprint Relay at Mansfield Divisionals

Breadloaf, VT – Both of the top entries for the Clarkson University Nordic Ski team finished second on Sunday in the Team Sprint Relay at the Mansfield Divisional Championships held at Rickert Nordic Center.

The Golden Knights' men top team ended up 45 seconds off the pace for second among 21 total teams. Clarkson's women did not have a complete team, but they combined with a skier from Vermont to take second just six seconds off the pace.

Cameron Bancroft, Joey Rouhana, and Conner Roberts combined to finish the 1.2K course (with three laps for each skier) in 31 minutes, 9 seconds, which was just under a minute off the time from a team from Paul Smiths. Clarkson had several other squads among the 21 teams, with Noah Payne, Hunter Krebs, and Kai Richter combining for an eighth place finish (32:56), Oliver Dolcino, Thomas Robinson, and Adam Jansen producing a 11th place showing (35:53), and Konrad Kremzner, Eric Nowak, and Derek Ferreira coming in 17th (38:18).

Lillian Magnus, Ava Schieffert and a skier from Vermont combined for a time of 39:24.
