Roberts and Schieffert Headline Knights at Supertour

For the second straight day, the Clarkson University Nordic Ski team was participating at two separate sites, as a small group competed at the Supertour in Lake Placid and a handful of others participated at the Spike Clayton Memorial Invitational in Vermont.

The Golden Knights in Vermont skied in the 18K Mixed Relay, with two groups of four skiing 4.5K each. Clarkson's first team placed 12th overall among 24 teams with a time of 1 hours, 12 minutes, and 6.7 seconds, while the second group took 22nd in 1:32:22.2.

In Lake Placid, Conner Roberts was the top performer for the Knights, coming in 51st place among 145 participants in the 10K Skate. The junior finished in 29:02.4, a little over four minutes off the pace. Senior Simon Zehr was next for the Knights, taking 110th place in 33:08.3, while junior Hunter Krebs and sophomore Noah Payne were just a little further behind. Krebs ended up in 126th in 35:05.2 and Payne was 129th with a time of 35:49.4. On the women's side, junior Ava Schieffert came in 85th place out of 124 skiers with a time of 41:16.0, and sophomore Lillian Magnus took 91st in 42:03.5.
