Fans can donate to Potsdam Snack Pack Program at Saturday's Clarkson Hockey Game vs Cornell. 

Saturday December 4th vs Cornell the Clarkson University Athletic Department will be collecting items for the Potsdam Snack Pack Program. A table will be set up inside Cheel Arena where staff will collect single serving snack items for local Potsdam students. The Potsdam Snack Pack Program was launched in November 2016 with a goal of providing healthy snacks to eligible school children on weekends and holidays. Potsdam was one of the few locales that did not have a "backpack" or "snack pack" program, even though more than 40% of the elementary school students were eligible.

From 2019 to now the number of student eligible has grown from 310 to 430 students. If you can, please give back by providing some items listed below.

Please bring Suggested Snack Pack Items (Single Serving): 
• Apple Sauce
• Cheese Snacks
• Breakfast Bars
• Fruit Cups
• Granola Bars
• Hot Chocolate/Cocoa Nuts (Almond, Mixed)
• Peanut Butter Crackers
• Pretzels
• Pudding
• Chicken with Crackers
• Tuna with Crackers
• Microwaveable lunch items (Spaghetti, Ravioli, Macaroni & Cheese)
• Cash Donations will also be accepted.

When students are hungry or worrying about their next meal it's more difficult for them to focus on learning. The Clarkson University Athletic Department want to ensure that no child goes hungry over the weekends, and that every child has the opportunity to be an active learner when she or he returns to school.
