Graduate student Mack Walton of the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team picked up another honor in his storied athletic career for the Golden Knights on Thursday, as the four-time conference all-star was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 selection.

Walton becomes the 18th selection and 13th different Clarkson Men's Soccer student-athlete to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District honors dating back to 1981. He joins former teammates John Furcick (2017, 2018, 2019), Ian Roeloffs (2019), and James Homan (2018) as recent choices by the organization.

Walton, who graduated in 2021 with a 3.52 grade-point average in Psychology and is currently working on his MBA, was named a Liberty League All-Star for the fourth time in his collegiate career earlier this week. He was also named a United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection in 2019 and earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American honors that season as well. Over the course of his four-year career, Walton scored 11 goals and added nine assists for 31 career points.
