The Series: This marks the first time that Rowan and Clarkson will play in women's lacrosse, though the two schools have met in competition in several other sports.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-3): The Golden Knights have out shot their opponents in four of five games, but have only two wins to show for the offensive effort thanks to a pair of two-goal defeats. Freshman Sydney Roderick leads the team in scoring with 23 points on eight goals and 15 assists, with her 4.60 points per game tying her for third best in the Liberty League and her 3.00 assists per contest the top figure in the conference. The rest of the team has just eight assists combined, but Roderick steadily finds a solid stable of goal scorers in Aubrey Borgesi (12), Katie Sergeant (9), Jaid Baytos (9) and Abby Collins (8). Senior Amanda Ellman and juniors Stephanie Scaia and Cayleen Murphy have been busy on the defensive end, combining for 14 caused turnovers. Ellman leads the team in groundballs with 12 and is closely followed by Scaia's 11 in that category.

Key Stats for Rowan (2-2): Though she is tied for third in points and ranks fourth on the team in goals with eight, Taylor Gretz is a player to watch for the Profs. Gretz contributes more than just on offense, posing 32 draw controls, 20 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers in just four games, figures that easily lead her team. She has recorded at least three groundballs in every game and has reached seven draw controls in three of the team's four contests. Leading the team in scoring is Maddie Bray with 21 tallies on 18 goals and three assists, while Liz Kramer (12-2-14) and Jess Havers (9-1-10) also are key figures on offense. Though Rowan leads its opponents in both shots and groundballs, the Profs enjoy a significant margin on draw controls, winning 61.3%.
