HEAD COACH RICK SEELEY SAYS—"Rebecca was our first committed student/athlete last year. She was captain of the Stoney Creek team that won the Provincial Junior Championship in Ontario. She is a great leader. We feel very fortunate to have her. I think she will develop into a key part of our success. She has a knack for finishing around the net."

BEFORE CLARKSON—Captained the Stoney Creek Sabres ... Scored 31 points on 14 goals and 17 assists and had a +17 rating through 62 games in 2006-07 ... Led Stoney Creek to the Provincial Championship coming out of the ultra-competitive PWHL in Ontario ... Totaled 80 points (33-47) and a +42 in 128 games with Stoney Creek over two years (2005-07) ... Was also a consistent honor roll student and an Ontario Academic and Athletic scholar.
