Biography

HEAD COACH RICK SEELEY SAYS—"Jessica has been a team favorite from day one and continues to be a team leader, serving as an assistant captain. She came back in the best shape of her career and has looked great in preseason. We know wherever she is playing there will be some production. Jess has developed into one of our top forwards. She has taken what she had when she arrived here and parlayed that into becoming a solid Division I hockey player."

JUNIOR YEAR (2006-07)—Steady forward recording four goals and seven assists through 34 games … Opened season with five points (2-3) in first four games … Scored a goal in each game of weekend sweep of Vermont (9/29-30) … Tallied twice to help power the Golden Knights to a 6-3 victory at Wayne State (11/18) … Recorded sixth career two-assist outing with a pair of helpers in 3-3 tie at Mercyhurst (10/14).

SOPHOMORE YEAR (2005-06)—Steady forward who tallied seven goals and seven assists playing in all 37 games … Scored three power-play markers and netted three game-winning goals … Opened season with two goals in 2-0 win at Vermont (10/7) … Tallied game-winning goals in 2-0 victories over number-one ranked St. Lawrence at Cheel Arena (12/2) and in triumph at Yale (2/17) … Also had deciding score in 5-1 win at Quinnipiac (11/19) … Started Clarkson’s rally late in the third period at Cornell (2/10) with Knights’ first goal in 2-1 victory … Scored one goal and one assist in 8-0 rout of Union (10/29) … Posted two, two-assist outings … Named to ECACHL weekly Honor Roll once (12/5).

FRESHMAN YEAR (2004-05)—One of Clarkson’s top playmakers with 11 assists … Also chipped in four goals for 15 points … A key contributor on the power play with four man-advantage markers along with four assists in specialty teams play … Opened collegiate campaign with six points in first four games, including two goals and one assist in 4-0 victory over Union (10/17) … Scored lone goal in 1-0 win over Niagara (12/3) … Tallied a goal and an assist in 3-0 win over Vermont (2/11) … Posted three, two-assist games … Named to the ECACHL weekly Honor Roll once (10/19).

BEFORE CLARKSON—Named Team MVP and served as captain for the Colorado Selects … Tallied 52 goals and 56 assists for 108 points through 59 games … Recorded 72 penalty minutes along with a +63 plus/minus rating.
