Tyler Wallace joins the Clarkson Men’s Hockey program for the 2026–27 season as a senior transfer following three seasons of NCAA Division I hockey at Niagara University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
A native of Calgary, Alberta, Wallace brings 111 games of collegiate experience to the Golden Knights, having recorded 36 goals and 38 assists for 74 points during his first three NCAA seasons.
Wallace began his collegiate career at Niagara University in 2023–24, making an immediate impact with 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points in 39 games. He followed that performance with another productive season in 2024–25, collecting 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points in 37 contests. During his two seasons with the Purple Eagles, Wallace totaled 27 goals and 29 assists for 56 points in 76 games.
For the 2025–26 season, Wallace transferred to RPI, where he appeared in 35 games, registering nine goals and nine assists for 18 points. He finished the season with one power-play goal and one shorthanded goal while recording 92 shots on goal.
Prior to beginning his collegiate career, Wallace enjoyed a successful junior hockey career in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), skating for the Fort McMurray Oil Barons and Blackfalds Bulldogs.
Wallace emerged as one of the AJHL’s top offensive players during the 2022–23 season with Blackfalds. Serving as an alternate captain, he earned multiple AJHL Player of the Week honors, including recognition following a six-goal, four-assist performance over three games in February 2023. That stretch featured a four-goal, five-point performance against the Okotoks Oilers.
Originally committed to Niagara University while playing for Fort McMurray, Wallace developed into a versatile two-way forward capable of contributing offensively while taking important defensive-zone faceoffs and playing on special teams.
The 6-foot-2 forward brings experience, offensive production, and leadership to Clarkson’s lineup as the Golden Knights prepare for the 2026–27 season. Wallace will wear No. 26 during his senior season at Clarkson.
