An all-star goaltender for the Golden Knights in the late 1980s, John

Fletcher posted a 56-38-9 record for Clarkson playing in 113 career games from 1986-90. A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Fletcher was named a second-team All-America as a sophomore in 1987-88 after being named ECAC Rookie of the Year the previous season. A 1987 draft choice of the Vancouver Canucks, Fletcher posted a .904 save percentage and a 3.25 goals against average during his collegiate career with the Green and Gold. A 5-11, 170-pound goaltender, he holds the Clarkson record for most saves in a game with 57 stops in the 7-6 four overtime victory against Colgate in the championship game of the Syracuse Invitational Tournament on December 30, 1987.

Winning Tradition and with the head coach (Cap Raeder) at the time being a goalie I felt it was the best place for me to develop.

Harvard. Being from the Boston area it was nice to have bragging rights over those guys in the summer.

We are all Big Golden Knight fans out here on the prairie!  We follow the team on the internet and root them on from afar.  We also got to see them live last year when Clarkson came out here to play against UNO and St. Cloud.
