SENIOR YEAR (2019-20)—Clarkson's captain ... Standout two-way defenseman ... CCM/AHCA All-American (2nd Team) ... First-Team ECAC Hockey All-Star  ... Finalist for ECAC's Best Defenseman  ... Led the Knights' offensive efforts form the blueline and tied for fifth in scoring among the nation's defensemen with 33 points on nine goals and 24 assists through 33 games ... Recorded eight multiple-point outings ... Tallied a career-high four points on two goals and two assists in 5-0 win over Brown (2/7) at Cheel Arena ... Posted a three-point game in 4-0 victory over Harvard (1/25) in Potsdam with two goals, including the game-winner, and one assist ... Had another three-point day with the opening two goals and one assist in 5-0 home win over Rensselaer  ... Also tallied three points on one goal and two assists in 5-4 victory at Rensselaer (11/2) ... Matched career-high for assists in game with three helpers in 7-0 win over Lindenwood (10/26) ... Set up both goals in 2-0 win over Colgate (2/29) in Game 2 of ECAC quarterfinal series ... JUNIOR YEAR-(2018-19)—One of the top two-way defenders in the nation … Second-Team ECAC Hockey All-Star … Named to ECAC Championship All-Tournament team … Golden Knight assistant captain … Paced Clarkson’s offensive effort from the blueline with 25 points on six goals and 19 assists … Posted a +29 plus/minus rating … Tallied twice on the power play … Scored twice on the power play in 4-2 win over Dartmouth (1/26) … Tallied a goal and assist in ECAC Tournament Championship 4-1 win over Cornell (3/10) ... Led the team in block shots (81) ... ECAC Hockey All-Academic team.

SOPHOMORE YEAR-(2017-18)—Emerged has one of the best two-way defenders in the nation ... Second-Team ECAC Hockey All-Star ... Played in 39 of the 41 games ... Scored five goals and tallied 20 assists for 25 points, the second most by a Clarkson defenseman ... Named to the ECAC All-Tournament Team ... Posted a plus/minus of +50, tied for fourth best on the team ... Scored two game winning goals, including the deciding goal against Dartmouth (2/16) ... Scored twice against Yale in the ECAC Quarterfinals (2/23-24) ... Led team in blocks with 67 ... Skated with Team Canada in Nation's Cup in Fussen, Germany in January ... Named to ECAC Hockey All-Academic team.

FRESHMAN YEAR (2016-17)—One of the top freshman defensemen in the country ... Tallied 25 points on six goals and 19 assists … Made the ECAC Hockey Championship All-Tournament Team...Named to ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team and ECAC Hockey Third-Team All-League ... Named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month for December ... Named to ECAC Hockey Weekly Honor Roll five times ... Scored the game-winning goal in 4-0 win over Princeton in ECAC Hockey Semifinals (3/4) ... Had an assist in both 4-3 win over Minnesota in NCAA Semifinals (3/17) and in 3-0 win over Wisconsin in NCAA Championship (3/19) ... Named to ECAC Hockey All-Academic team.

BEFORE CLARKSON—Skated for the London Jr. Devilettes (PWHL) … Was part of Team Ontario U18 team in 2016 … Participated in Hockey Canada Strength and Conditioning Camp this past May.

PERSONAL—Daughter of Cathy and Warren Shelton  … Born on January 19, 1998 … Shoots left  … Biology major ... Has two older brothers, Jesse, who played soccer at the University of Maine Fort Kent, and Jack, and a younger brother, Maxx … Honor student and named Senior Athlete of the Year at St. Mary’s Catholic H.S., graduating in 2016 … Likes to fish, riding snowmobiles and driving tractors with her family, who make the BEST Canadian maple syrup … Also played soccer and basketball in high school … Lists Erik Karlsson and Kris Letang has her favorite athletes … Also recruited by Merrimack, UNH and Connecticut.
