The final weekend of ECAC play is shaping up to be a wild finish as 7 teams are separated by 9.5 points and the playoff picture is very up in the air.
Clarkson sits in 4th place and can move up as high as 2nd with two regulation wins or fall to 7th with two regulation losses. The 4th place spot or higher is a coveted seed as that will allow the Knights to have a first round bye and then home ice in the quarterfinal round.
Colgate is in 7th place, just 2.5 points behind the Knights, while Cornell is in 6th, just .5 behind the Knights.
The Knights will get a boost from Italy, as
Manon le Scodan has returned from the Olympics. Manon played in all 4 games for France, collecting 2 assists. Andrea Trnkova will return early next week as Czechia was eliminated today in the quarterfinals.
Fourth in the NCAA for scoring is freshman forward
Sara Manness. Manness has 49 points (21G, 28A) in 32 games this season with two regular season games remaining. She leads all freshmen in regular season scoring dating back to at least the 2018-19 season, when Sarah Fillier (Princeton '24) and Alina Mueller (Northeastern '23) each recorded 48 points.
