The Series: The Thoroughbreds had three players finish in double-figures for scoring in a 77-48 win in Potsdam on January 17th with the team shooting 44% from the field and creating 26 turnovers. Addie Kea and Fallon Griffin both led the Golden Knights with 19 points apiece in the 66-57 win against the Herons the day before with Griffin grabbing 11 rebounds to complete her double-double. The Knights rebounded from down seven after the first quarter to score 20 or more points in two of the final three quarters.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-12, 5-9 Liberty League): Griffin enters the weekend with 56 made three-pointers and four regular season games remaining, 15 makes off the program single-season record of 71 that is currently held by three different players. A 14.0 points per game average for the junior puts her tied for first in the league with Jackie Malley of St. Lawrence. The win against Ithaca on Saturday marked the first ever Liberty League sweep for the Knights and the first time since the 1989-90 season Clarkson had won two straight in the series with the Bombers.

Key Stats for Skidmore (9-12, 7-7 Liberty League): Skidmore comes into Friday having won three of their last four contests which puts them two games ahead of Clarkson at 6th place in the Liberty League. Madison Meyer leads the team in scoring with an 11.6 points per game average and tallied a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double in a 59-54 loss at Union on February 6th. The Thoroughbreds hold the lowest free-throw percentage in the league, shooting at a 61% clip from the charity stripe but have the best turnover margin (3.76), forcing opponents to turn the ball over 21 times a game on average.

Key Stats for William Smith (3-18, 1-13 Liberty League): The Herons find themselves amidst a six-game skid but face St. Lawrence on Friday, the lone conference win for the team so far this season. Overall, William Smith ranks bottom in defense in the Liberty League, allowing 68.5 points per game on average but hold opponents to the second-lowest shooting percentage (0.401) at the same time. Amelia McCulley dumped in 18 points in the previous meeting between the Knights and Herons and had 20 of the teams' 39 against Skidmore on January 31st. The junior has scored just six in each of the last two losses.
