**Golden Knights Look to Extend Winning Streak as Providence Visits Cheel**

Riding a four-game winning streak, the Clarkson University Women's Hockey team returns to the ice tonight when it hosts Providence College at Cheel Arena. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 6 p.m., beginning a two-game non-conference series that concludes Saturday at 3 p.m. Both games will stream on ESPN+.  Tonight is Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night, with a pre game reception at 5:00 pm in Club 99.

The Golden Knights enter the weekend at 6-2-0 following a commanding 7-0 victory over Franklin Pierce last Saturday. Clarkson controlled play throughout, outshooting the Ravens 55-12 while scoring in every period. Kate Manness led the offense with a goal and three assists, while Jessie Pellerin scored twice and added an assist. Janelle Evans also contributed three points, and Aneta Šenková stopped all 12 shots she faced to record the shutout.

Special teams provided another strong element in that performance. Clarkson converted all three of its power-play opportunities and successfully killed each of Franklin Pierce's four chances. That combination of offensive execution and defensive discipline gives the Knights a strong foundation heading into tonight's match up.

The weekend carries an added connection for Pellerin, who faces her former team. The Clarkson forward spent her first two collegiate seasons at Providence, recording 38 points in 69 games. Her familiarity with the Friars adds another storyline as she looks to build on last weekend's productive outing, which vaulted her to the #2 goal scorer in the NCAA.

Providence arrives with a 3-3-0 overall record and a 1-1-0 mark in Hockey East. The Friars have already demonstrated an ability to win a close contest, earning a 3-2 overtime victory at Boston College on October 10 behind Hannah Clarke's deciding goal. Audrey Knapp brings experience to the Providence attack after recording 23 points last season, while goaltender Mallory Hartl made 30 saves in a recent match up with Northeastern.
