Fresh off a first Liberty League weekend series sweep of the 2025-26 campaign, the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team remains at Alumni Gymnasium, welcoming Bard College and Vassar College, Friday and Saturday.

The Series: Clarkson earned their first league win of the year at Bard on January 10th, racing past the Raptors 82-56. Steve DeRegis led all scorers with 23 points while Nate Abernethy, Braeden Burns and Aydin Kocak all scored in double-figures. The Brewers have won the last three meetings, including a 56-54 on January 9th, hanging on despite not scoring a single field goal in the final 11:55 of the game.
Key Stats for Clarkson (8-9, 3-7 Liberty League): The Golden Knights scored 86 points in both wins this past weekend, the highest-scoring outputs for the team since registering 91 on November 11th versus SUNY Canton. DeRegis was chosen as the Liberty League Performer of the Week after averaging 18.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in the two wins while Nate Abernethy earned Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth time of the year behind 16.0 point and 8.5 rebound averages through that same timeframe. Key Stats for Bard (1-16, 0-10 Liberty League): The Raptors enter the weekend on a 14-game losing stretch and scored just 83 points combined in losses to Skidmore and Vassar on Friday and Saturday. Azikiwe Cuffy-Scott led the team with 10 points against Skidmore while Seth Dyer led with 10 of his own against Vassar. Cuffy-Scott has scored in double-figures four out of the past five games, sophomore Lucas Tovar dishes out an average of 3.8 assists per game.
Key Stats for Vassar (12-4, 8-1 Liberty League): The Brewers are currently tied for second in league standings, just one win behind RPI. 12 different players scored in double-figures in the game against Bard as the team shot a season-best 53% (40-76) from the field. Shea Fitzgerald was named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week last week after averaging 25 points through two games and followed that with 25 points in the team's only league loss to RPI on the 23rd. Nathan Denham leads the Brewers in rebounding with 7.7 a game, the senior had 13 points and eight boards against Bard.
