The Series: Though the Golden Knights still trail RIT in the all-time series (24-27), Clarkson has gone 22-4 since 2009, with just a four-match losing streak from 2018-2021. Clarkson won in straight sets a year ago. The Rochester series is considerably shorter, with the two teams having met 11 times. The Knights are 5-6, including a four-set win in 2024.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-10, 1-3 Liberty League): Clarkson should have sophomore hitter Grace Hanson back from injury this weekend, an extra weapon on offense. Hanson hit .346 against RIT a year ago with 11 kills and then came back for 17 kills versus the Yellowjackets. Though she has appeared in only 38 sets this year, she is averaging 2.08 kills per set in 2025, behind Conley Burns (3.35 kps) and Marin Hangliter (2.60 kps).

Key Stats for RIT (6-12, 1-4 Liberty League): The Tigers ended a 10-match losing streak this past Saturday with a win over Bard in straight sets. The Tigers have used three different setters this season, including Sofia Leon, who has four double-doubles. Two of Leon's double-doubles came with double-digit kills and double-digit digs, and two more came with double-digit assists and double-digit digs. Anna Wasula is the most frequent target of sets, averaging 3.05 kills per set, while Mia Gerber hit .394 just last weekend.

Key Stats for Rochester (3-15): Like RIT, Rochester has shuffled setters looking for its most potent lineup. The Yellowjackets biggest issue on offense has come from unforced errors, giving up 4.75 points per set on non-blocked attack attempts. The most effective hitter for Rochester throughout the season is Sancia Williams, who is hitting .218 and average 2.19 kills per set.
