The PWHL held their 2nd annual entry draft on Monday and hosted their first ever Award Ceremony on Tuesday in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Several Golden Knights were featured during both events.

On Monday, the league conducted their 2nd draft.  Minnesota, the only team in the PWHL that did not have a former Golden Knight on the roster, drafted two Clarkson alums.  With the 3rd pick in the 4th round, Brooke McQuigge was taken by Minnesota and then with the 3rd pick in the 5th round Minnesota selected Dominique Petrie.  Former Golden Knight, Stephanie Markowski was selected the pick ahead of McQuigge by Ottawa.  Lauren Bernard, another former Golden Knight was taken by Toronto with the last pick in the 4th round.  In total 16 of the 42 players drafted were from the ECAC and 34 of the 42 played in the NCAA last season.  

On Tuesday the league announced their first ever year end awards.  Erin Ambrose edged out fellow Golden Knight alum, Ella Shelton, for the Defender of the Year Award.  Ambrose, a member of the 2014 National Championship team, recorded 18 points in 24 games including 14 assists which tied for the league-lead at her position. 

Ambrose and Shelton were selected as First Team All Stars and Renata Fast was selected as a Second Team All Star, which made 3 of the 4 league all stars at the defense spot Golden Knight alums.
