The Knights hit the road for the final time of the regular season when they make the trip to to Quinnipiac and Princeton. The Knights are tied for 4th with Dartmouth in the ECAC standings and will need to out pace the Big Breen as they do not own the tie break.
Quinnipiac has wrapped up the ECAC Regular Season title, and sits 7th in the national pairwise. The Knights have lost their last 3 to the Bobcats, but all have been close games. The last win for Clarkson was Feb 12th of 2022. The Knights have been struggling with some sickness
and injuries, but will get some players back this weekend.
Ayrton Martino leads the team in assists with 16 and total points with 24.
Ryan Taylor, despite missing several games with injuries, leads the team in goals scored with 10.
Trey Taylor is the leader from the blueline with 3 goals, 13 assists, and a +16 rating. Taylor also leads the team in shot attempts (79) and blocked shots (59).
Austin Roden has been strong down the stretch, holding teams to 2.4 goals against in February.
Clarkson will be looking to stay in the top 4 of the ECAC and earn a first round bye. To do so, the Knights will need any combination of points that out paces Dartmouth in the final two games, while also staying ahead of Union and SLU. Union is 2 points back of the Knights and SLU sits 4 points back. Harvard could catch the Knights in points but Clarkson owns the tie break.
