The Series: The two contests against Ithaca could not have been much different in 2022-23. The Bombers won the first game by 50 points at home, but in Potsdam the contest was much different, with Clarkson falling by just eight behind Cassidy Dumont's 20 points. Union also swept Clarkson a year ago, winning by double figures in two low-scoring contests.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-9, 1-4 Liberty League): While the Golden Knights' offense has had its issues recently, the defense continues to be strong, with the team averaging 10.5 steals per game and ranking second in the league in turnover margin (plus-2.0 tpg). Cassidy Dumont leads the conference in steals at 2.8 per game, Bella Doyle ranks fourth with 1.7 per game, and Addie Kea is seventh at 1.6 per contest. Dumont is also second in the conference in points per game at 15.6, averaging the same figure in both non-conference and Liberty League games.

Key Stats for Ithaca (10-2, 4-1 Liberty League): The Bombers lead the conference in scoring at 71.8 points per game and have the largest turnover margin in the league as well (plus-3.67 tpg). Camryn Coffey is averaging 12.5 points per game, shooting 51.5% from the field and 42.3% from the 3-point line. June Dickson is just behind Coffey in scoring with 12.4 points per contest while also adding in 2.5 assists per game. Annabella Yorio is also tossing in 9.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest.

Key Stats for Union (4-9, 3-3 Liberty League): Jelena Perovic leads Union with 10.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, shooting 53.1% from the floor in nine of the team's 13 contests. No other player has produced much offensively, but the team is balanced with points up and down the lineup. Defensively, Union ranks second in the league in blocks per game (4.3 bpg). The Garnet Chargers have had their issues from the perimeter, making just 49 3-pointers at a success rate of just 23.6%, while opponents have a league-high 81 makes from the arc.
