Clarkson exploded for 7 goals against Princeton and cruised to a 7-1 victory.
Brooke McQuigge struck first at 13:26 scoring on her older sister, Princeton Goalie, Rachel. McQuigge would add another goal and 2 assists for a 4 point night.Â
Caitrin Lonergan scored 3 goals and added an assist and
Nicole Gosling had 1 goal and 3 assists to match Brooke's 4 point night. Â
Florence Lessard also scored for the Knights,
Morgan Helgeson,
Miranda Gaudet,
Gabrielle David,
Haley Winn (2) and
Anne Cherkowski all added assists in the win.
Michelle Pasiechnyk, made 19 saves for the win. Clarkson was 3 for 5 on the power play and killed off the only Princeton attempt.
The Knights will enjoy a regular week without any make up games and hit the road heading to Yale and Brown this weekend. Yale is just a point behind the Knights in the ECAC standings.
