Although the program knew it would be receiving a bid, the Clarkson University Volleyball team had to wait until the final section of the bracket to hear its name called, as the Golden Knights will head to New Jersey for the NCAA Division III Volleyball Hoboken Regional, hosted by Stevens Institute of Technology.

The Golden Knights (19-9) received the Liberty League's automatic bid for winning the conference's postseason tournament, a feat that the Green and Gold accomplished for the eighth time in the past nine tries on Saturday afternoon. Clarkson will face Stevenson University (26-6) in the opening round of the regional at 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon. Joining Clarkson in the Hoboken Region is Stevenson, host Stevens Institute of Technology, Brooklyn College, Cedar Crest College, Middlebury College, New York University, and Trinity (TX) University. This will be the first time that the Golden Knights take on Stevenson in volleyball.

Clarkson was one of three Liberty League teams to reach the NCAA Tournament, joined by at-large selections RIT and Ithaca. The Golden Knights went 4-7 against teams in the NCAA Tournament field, beating Endicott College, Illinois Wesleyan, Ithaca College, and Stevens Institute of Technology. The Golden Knights are in the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time in program history, with all of those appearances coming since 2009. The only years since 2009 that Clarkson did not make the tournament were 2018 and last season, when there was no official NCAA Tournament in the fall.
