Box Score Brooke McQuigge netted 2 goals and Olivia Hanson added her first as a Golden Knights as the Knights beat the Lions.

The Knights jumped out to a 3-1 lead after one period of play, then scored 2 in the second to go up 5-1.  The Lions were able to battle back late in the third to make it close, but Michelle Pasiechnyk and Alexa Madrid were able to combine for 21 saves.  

Clarkson attempted 79 shots on net and out shot the Lions 52 to 24.

Clarkson was 0 for 5 with the power play and killed off all 3 Lindenwood chances.  

The two teams meet back up tomorrow at 2:10 central time, 3:10 eastern.
