Classmates Devin Brosseau and Greg Moro signed, respectively with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors and Stockton Heat earlier this spring.

Egle was a Third-Team ECAC Hockey All-Star this past season and was the Golden Knights' leading scorer with 32 points on a team-high 14 goals and 18 assists through 32 games. The  Liepaja, Latvia native compiled 105 career points on 44 goals and 61 assists through 135 games.

Three other members of the Golden Knights incoming recruits of 2016 – Sheldon Rempal, Nico Sturm and Jake Kielly – departed from collegiate play in recent seasons to play professional hockey.

Rempal signed with the Los Angeles Kings organization after the 2017-18 season, while Sturm and Kielly inked deals with the Minnesota Wild and Vancouver Canucks, respectively, following the 2018-19 campaign. Both Rempal and Sturm have seen action in the National Hockey League.
