Bredehoeft and Isaksen Earn CoSIDA Academic Honors

Seniors Maddie Bredehoeft and Kate Isaksen of the Clarkson University Volleyball team added to their list of academic accomplishments as the pair was chosen as CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 selections. Both student-athletes will now advance to the national ballot.

This is Isaksen's third selection to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team and she achieved Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-American Second-Team honors a year ago. For Bredehoeft, this is her first time receiving the honor. These awards mark the 13th and 14th times that members of the the Golden Knights' Volleyball team have earned CoSIDA Academic All-District selections and Isaksen joins Erika Chin (2011, 2012, 2013) as the only other volleyball player at Clarkson to be chosen three times. 

Clarkson's All-Time CoSIDA Selections

An environmental engineering major, Bredehoeft has a 3.90 grade-point average through seven semesters. She is averaging 2.41 kills per set with a .183 hitting percentage while also chipping in on defense with 1.15 digs per set. Isaksen, a double-major in computer science and mathematics, has a 3.69 grade-point average through seven semesters. A four-time conference all-star and two-time AVCA All-American, Isaksen is averaging 6.13 digs per set with a .977 reception percentage, figures that rank her among the elite in all of NCAA Division III Volleyball.
