Thanks to the most successful season in 21 years, the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team reeled in four Liberty League All-Star selections when the conference announced its award winners on Tuesday morning.

Senior goalkeeper Ian Roeloffs was chosen a Liberty League First-Team All-Star while junior midfielder Mack Walton, junior defender Brandon Bahr, and freshman defender Kyle Jackson also gained Liberty League Second-Team All-Star honors.

Roeloffs made 18 starts between the posts, playing more than 1600 minutes in goal for the Golden Knights. Over the course of the season he recorded a 0.88 goals against average, an .824 save percentage, nine shutouts and nine victories. Among his nine shutouts, the second-most in program history, were four against teams ranked in the top 25 nationally, two victories against Ithaca and two 0-0 double overtime ties versus Rensselaer. Against conference opponents he had a 0.62 goals against average, .867 save percentage and six shutouts.

The top scorer for the Golden Knights, Walton was chosen as a Liberty League All-Star for the third straight year, receiving Liberty League Second-Team status last year and Liberty League Honorable Mention honors as a freshman. Walton scored 11 points on four goals and three assists and also notched a team-high 40 shots, nearly twice the total of any other player on the squad.

Since Bahr joined the Golden Knights three years ago, Clarkson has deployed one of the best defenses in the region, helping the team allow well less than goal per game in that stretch. The Knights allowed just 16 goals overall and only eight over the final 15 games of the season. He recorded one assist on the season and ranked third on the team in minutes played with 1467 and played full time in nine contests.

Jackson's key contributions to the team came in the continuation of the Golden Knights' outstanding defensive effort over the last few years, but he also became a dangerous goal scorer down the stretch. He scored three goals overall, including one in the regular-season finale against Union and then the game-winning goal versus Ithaca in the Liberty League's first round of playoffs. He played without a substitute in nine contests and was second on the team in minutes played with 1572, trailing only the goalkeeper.
