Biography

AT CLARKSON (2009-10) — Played just one year for the Golden Knights after starring at the University of Connecticut in her first three collegiate seasons … Clarkson’s leading scorer during the Knights’ best season ever … Amassed 40 points on 21 goals and 19 assists through 39 games … Helped lead Clarkson to its best season ever as the Knights posted a 23-12-5 overall record, a second-place showing in ECAC Hockey with a 14-5-3 league ... Played a key role as a senior as the Green and Gold advanced to the ECAC Championship Tournament for the second time in the program’s history and made its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2010.

 

SENIOR YEAR (2009-10)— Made a great impact on the Green and Gold lineup as the Knights’ leading scorer with a team-high 21 goals and 40 points … Tallied five power-play goals, five game-winners and one shorthanded marker … A third-team ECAC Hockey All-Star … Selected to skate for the ECAC Hockey All-Star Team that  played the 2010 U.S. Women's National Team … Was a force for Clarkson right from the start, scoring the game-winning goal and two assists in 5-1 opening day victory over Boston College (10/2) … Posted three two-goal games and three, three point games … Named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week once (1/25) and selected to the league’s weekly honor roll once (12/7).

WHY CLARKSON—"I chose Clarkson because they have a great rising hockey program and I believe we will have the potential to win an ECAC title and compete for a national championship. Also, the coaching staff seems very knowledgeable and fun."

BEFORE CLARKSON—Was a three-year standout at the University of Connecticut, compiling 112 career points on 62 goals and 50 assists ... Earned a spot on the All-Hockey East Second-Team last season after leading her team in scoring for the second consecutive season by scoring 24 goals and adding 14 assists for 38 points ... As a UConn sophomore, played in 33 games, recording a new program record for points in a single season and a league-high 48 points, including 24 goals and 24 assists ... Was named a 2008 Second Team RBK All-American, Hockey East Player of the Year, and was selected a member of the New England Hockey Writers Division I Women's All-Star team ... Was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie team in 2007 ... A three-year member of the Canadian Under-22 Team, and competed in the 2009 MLP Cup in Ravensburg Germany where she was a teammate of current Golden Knight Katelyn Ptolemy ... Played at Hawkesbury H.S. prior to college.
