A longer break than expected gives the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team plenty of rest for its next test when the team takes on Plattsburgh State on Wednesday at Hantz Field.

The Series: The Cardinals have won 31 of 38 all-time meetings, but the matchup has evened over the past decade or so, with each team winning five contests. Clarkson won last year's game handily, taking the Cardinals 3-0 with goals from Maddie Lopol, Brooke Butler, and Emma Robinson.

Key Stats for Clarkson (0-0-1): The Golden Knights opened the season with a 2-2 tie against former Division I program University of Hartford on Friday, quickly responding to goals from the Hawks each time the visitor took the lead.
