The Series: Clarkson is 14-20-2 all-time against the Thoroughbreds, having won last year's matchup by a score of 3-1. Eric McKean scored on a penalty kick to ice the game, while Jonathan Dereka and Logan Drake each assisted on goals by Nolan Grady in the victory.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-0-3, 1-0-0 Liberty League): While Clarkson is averaging just under a goal and a half per game on offense, the story for the Golden Knights in 2024 has been the team's defense. The Green and Gold rank 10th in the country in save percentage (.882) and tied for 12th in goals against average at 0.50. The credit for that success is a team-wide effort, though the steady play of Morgan Burke, Remi Ufheil, and Kyle Otis have particularly stood out. Burke leads the team in minutes among field players, while Ufheil is second. Otis has missed two entire games and still is in the top five in minutes for the Knights.

Key Stats for Skidmore (1-1-5, 0-0-1 Liberty League): Good news and bad news for the Thoroughbreds thus far is that they have only lost one game but have also only won one game in 2024. While the ties in non-conference mean little, Skidmore will be looking to break those knots in the Liberty League in hopes of qualifying for the conference tournament. Colin Goodhines leads the team on offense with nine points on four goals and one assist while Tobias Catizone has also scored a pair of goals. Will Devall has solid numbers between the posts with an .829 save percentage and 0.86 goals against average.
