Back on the road again, the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team is now entering the thick of the Liberty League schedule and the Golden Knights will look to continue their three-game unbeaten streak when the team heads to Rochester to face RIT on Saturday afternoon.

The Series: Although the Golden Knights have narrowly outscored RIT in the all-time matchup 68-67, the Green and Gold trails 21-25-4 in the 50 meetings. Clarkson picked up a 1-0 win over the Tigers last season thanks to a header from Henry Gomez. Two of the past four games have gone to overtime, and the Tigers ousted Clarkson in the playoffs two years ago with a 2-1 win in Rochester.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-3-1, 0-0-1 Liberty League): In its 1-1 tie against St. Lawrence on Wednesday, Clarkson saw its eighth different player score a goal as Cam Emde-Gerdine picked up his first collegiate goal late in the contest. Of Clarkson's 11 goals this year, five players have scored once while three have scored twice, doing so in bunches. Mack Walton scored both of his goals this season in two games last week and Aidan Subra tallied goal of his goals in the season-opener. Erick Naula also produced both of his goals in back-to-back games early in the campaign.

Key Stats for RIT (2-5-1, 0-1-0 Liberty League): The Tigers offense is averaging close to two goals per game and is rifling off shots at a pace of more than 15 per contest. Against second-ranked Oneonta State, RIT outshot the Red Dragons 21-6, but only found the net once while the opposition scored three times. Defense has been the glaring deficiency for the Tigers this year, allowing 17 goals on just 71 total shots, of which just 42 have been on frame. Nick Simone (3-4-10), Simon Garno (3-2-8) and Dante DeSisti (2-2-6) have accounted for nearly 60% of the team's offense.
