Harmon and Tiley Earn ECAC Hockey Weekly Honors

A pair of freshman standouts for the Clarkson University Women's Hockey team, Savannah Harmon and Shea Tiley, earned weekly Honors from ECAC Hockey. A defenseman, Harmon was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week, while Tiley was selected the conference's Goaltender of the Week.

A native of Downers Grove, IL, Harmon helped to lead the defending ECAC Hockey regular season champions to a perfect start in league play by recording five points on two goals and three assists in three wins last week. She scored a goal and added two assists in Friday's 5-1 win at Brown and tallied the game-winner on the power-play in Saturday's 2-1 victory at Yale. Harmon finished with a plus-5 on the week and played a key role in last Tuesday's 5-0 shutout of St. Lawrence in the ECAC Hockey opener.

Tiley allowed only two goals on 71 shots in the three wins. The Owen Sound, ONT native picked up her third-career shutout with 19 saves in the win over St. Lawrence and followed with 18 stops in the victory at Brown. She posted a career-high 32 saves in the one-goal triumph at Yale.

Ranked seventh/eighth in the national polls, Clarkson stands at 8-3 overall. The Golden Knights are off this week before returning to ECAC Hockey play on November 14-15 when they host Harvard and Dartmouth at Cheel Arena.
