Christian Diaz

Christian Diaz is entering his first season as the head women's lacrosse coach for the Golden Knights in 2026-27.

Diaz has close to three decades of playing and coaching experience in the sport of lacrosse, including 17 years of coaching experience at various levels, including NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Diaz has been the inaugural coach in starting up programs at a couple of stops at the collegiate level, but most recently began the program at Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2023, a position he held for two years before departing for a job with NCSA College Recruiting after the 2025 season.  

Coaching at various levels since 2010, Diaz began his career back at Notre Dame College Prep and eventually moved to the college ranks in 2014 as an assistant at Missouri Baptist University. Since then he has had stops at Robert Morris University, Augustana College, Clarke University, and the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy, with his most recent position being at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Diaz graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a degree in justice studies and also has received a master's degree from DePaul University in public service management.
