Lauren Crump

Lauren Crump is entering her first season as new assistant coach for the Golden Knights starting in the summer of 2013.

Crump, who graduated from Indiana University East this past May with a degree in Communications with a 3.785 grade-point average, was a four-year captain for the Red Wolves and is the NAIA’s all-time leader in assists during the rally-scoring era. In her career at IUE, Crump’s teams posted a winning percentage of .829, including a 44-6 record in 2012.

An accomplished student-athlete in both the classroom and on the court, Crump was both a three-time Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Tachikara–NAIA All-American as well as a Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American. With 6908 assists, she is the NAIA all-time leading setter.

Crump also was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a student blogger for IUE.
