Sydney Lamb joins Clarkson after an impressive freshman season at St. Cloud State University. The 5-foot-7 right-shot defenseman appeared in 34 games for the Huskies during the 2025–26 season, recording six goals and nine assists for 15 points. She also generated 47 shots and scored on 12.8 percent of her attempts.

Lamb’s immediate impact against a demanding WCHA schedule earned her a place on the 2025–26 WCHA All-Rookie Team. Her offensive production, skating ability and effectiveness in transition established her as one of the conference’s leading first-year defensemen.

Before beginning her collegiate career, Lamb played for the Windy City Storm 19U AAA program. The Lombard, Illinois, native also gained extensive international experience with USA Hockey, participating in the Under-18 Select Series and representing the United States at the 2025 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship.

Lamb brings proven Division I experience, offensive ability and international competition to Clarkson’s blue line. She will wear number 10 and enter the 2026–27 season as a sophomore with the Golden Knights.
