Mick Maguire has worn many hats during his tenure at Clarkson, which began in the late 1980s. Entering his 19th year with the University’s Athletic Department, Maguire was named Clarkson’s Aquatics Director and swim coach in 1987 and has guided the Golden Knights swim teams to continued success in league and regional competition. Clarkson swimmers have also excelled in the classroom where they have amassed numerous academic honors. The swim teams are also actively involved in community affairs and their annual 24-hour swim fundraising relay has benefited numerous charitable organizations throughout the years.
