Biography
“My time at Clarkson as a member and captain of the golf team has truly been memorable from start to finish. The people I met and the obstacles faced individually and as a team truly molded me into the person I am today. The opportunity to represent Clarkson as an athlete each weekend in the fall and spring is something I will always cherish, and I hope my teammates continue to leave their own mark on the program as it grows.”
2019-20: Competed in all seven fall tournaments, leading the team with a scoring average of 76.08 strokes per 18 holes over the course of 12 rounds...Shot below 80 on nine occasions...Won the Kangaroos Invitational (9/20/2019), scorching the course with a 69 to pace the field of 35 golfers...Finished fourth among 59 competitors at the SLU Invitational (9/7-8/2019), scoring a two-day total of 145, including 70 on day two of the tournament...Ended up in second place out of 57 golfers at the Oswego Fall Invitational (9/28-29/2019) with a score of 148, shooting 72 on day one and 76 on day two...Also placed in a tie for 22nd out of 118 golfers at the Duke Nelson Invitational (9/14-15/2019), scoring 72 on day one and 78 on day two...Tied for sixth at the Clarkson Invitational (9/10/2019), shooting 77 for the one-day tournament...Liberty League All-Academic.
2018-19: Picked as Liberty League Honorable Mention All-Star after averaging 78.00 strokes in 17 competitive rounds in fall and spring...Posted 11 rounds in the 70s overall...Named Liberty League Performer of the Week after winning the North Country Shootout with a two-day score of 147, recording 72 at Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course and a 75 at Potsdam Town & Country Club (10/6-7/2018)...Was the only golfer in the field of 35 competitors to shoot in the 70s on all three days of the Liberty League Championships, finising in a tie for fourth with a three-day score of 236 at the event (4/26-28/2019)...Enjoyed five rounds below 75...Also performed at the Liberty League Fall Preview, scoring 148 with a second-day score of 72 (9/22-23/2018)...Liberty League All-Academic.
2017-18: Scored 79.33 strokes per round in 12 competitive outings during the fall of 2017...Posted scores below 80 in eight of his 12 rounds, including the first five of the season...Shot a season-low 73 on day two of the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury College (9/17/2017)...Also shot 74 on the second day of the St. Lawrence Invitational (9/10/2017) and at the Liberty League Preview (9/24/2017) at Timber Banks Golf Course in Baldwinsville, NY.
2016-17: Averaged team-best 78.77 strokes per round in the fall over the course of 13 rounds...Opened collegiate career with a season-low 73 at the St. Lawrence Invitational (9/3/2016)...Enjoyed seven sub-80 rounds, including three of 74 or lower...Besides his 73 at St. Lawrence, shot 74 at Potsdam Fall Golf Invitational (9/6/2016) to finish second out of 28 golfers, and also shot 74 on opening day of Duke Nelson Invitational at Middlebury College...Named Liberty League Performer of the Week on September 6, 2016 thanks to scoring 150 at the St. Lawrence Invitational, where he finished fourth out of 61 golfers.
