Amanda Stopa is entering her second year as the top assistant coach for the Clarkson University Cross Country and Nordic Ski programs.

Stopa, a 2009 graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in English Literature and 2013 graduate of Rutgers with an MFA in Writing, ran for both the University of Washington and University of Oregon Track & Field and Cross Country programs as an undergraduate.

Since graduating from Washington, Stopa has used her degree both in and out of athletics. While in Seattle she worked as a faculty liaison within the University of Washington's Student-Athlete Academic Services. While working towards her master's degree, she served as an adjunct professor at Camden County College; and was a Key Leader and Run Club organizer for lululemon athletica in Philadelphia.
