Jeff Lathrop

Jeff Lathrop is entering his second season as head coach for the Golden Knights' Alpine Skiing program in 2020-21. In his first year with the program, Lathrop guided the Golden Knights to a fifth place finish in the giant slalom and ninth place showing in the slalom at the USCSA National Championships, held in Lake Placid in March 2020. 

Lathrop graduated from Bates College with a degree in Psychology in May 2013 and spent three seasons with the Bobcats' Division I program. Since graduating from Bates, Lathrop was the head coach for the U16 Alpine team at Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine, helping mold elite prep school athletes for the next level.

From 2013-2016, he also headed the U14 program in addition to his duties with the U16 team, and over the last four years he also taught psychology Classes at Gould Academy.

Lathrop is a USSS Level 100 Alpine Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as a USSS Level I Jury Advisor, Course Official and Referee.
