RECAP:
For the third time in four weeks, Clarkson faced Ithaca for some sort of top honor, and for the third time in four weeks, the Golden Knights came away with a victory over the Bombers. Clarkson required five sets to beat Ithaca for the second time in less than 10 days as the Golden Knights once again made things difficult for the Bombers' offense. Leading by five points in the fifth set, Ithaca came back to tie the set at 14-14, but back-to-back kills on the outside from Kristin WerdineĀ lifted the Knights to the win in the Potsdam Regional Final.

RECAP:
In a rematch of two weeks ago, Ithaca again took five sets to dispatch Wesleyan, but did so with a stronger offensive touch this time around. The Bombers hit .323 for the match, with three sets above .350. Wesleyan used five aces in the first set to gain the win, but the Bombers shored up their back line and took the next two sets. After the Cardinals evened things up in the fourth, Ithaca hit .500 in the final game (10-0-20) to advance to the Potsdam Regional Finals.

Reagan Stone delivered 25 kills and a .316 hitting percentage while first-year Jennifer Pitts added 15 kills and six total blocks. Caitlyn Floyd added 58 assists and 10 digs for the Bombers. For Wesleyan, four players were in double figures for kills, led by first-year Bella Ahearn's 13. Kaira Muraoka-Robertson also chipped in 49 assists and 11 digs.Ā

RECAP: The second-seeded Bombers did just enough to win the first two sets and then could do little wrong in the third set as they picked up an opening round win over Morrisville in the second match of the Potsdam Regional. NCAA Division III kills per set leader Megyan Merrill was limited to five kills in the match and Reagan Stone, ranked fourth in the country in that category, produced 15 kills for Ithaca.

Ithaca hit .300 in the match, including a .357 rate in the opener and a .444 clip in the finale. Morrisville made sure the Bombers worked for each of the first two games, coming up with enough on offense and in the service game to keep the match close. However, the Bombers found another gear in the third game to pick up the win.Ā Camryn O'Leary knocked down 10 kills at a .429 hitting rate and Caitlyn Floyd delivered 30 assists and four kills of her own for the Bombers. Amelia Baratier led Morrisville with seven kills.Ā

RECAP: Wellesley either built early leads or quickly recovered from modest deficits in each of the three sets and found itself leading late with just moderate worries as the Blue downed Brockport in three straight sets.Ā

The BlueĀ did more than enough on the outside to keep Brockport uneasy, but it was freshman middle hitterĀ TylerBell Smith who showed she has a bright future in collegiate volleyball, hitting .636 with eight kills against just one error in 11 swings while also adding the block assists. Nicole Doerges and Nikkie Jensen also each delivered nine kills thanks to the setting work of Izzy Seebold, who had 34 assists and three aces.Ā Brockport swung away frequently, but came away with just a .029 hitting percentage in the match on 26 kills and 23 attack errors.Ā

RECAP: The top-seeded Golden Knights jumped out of the gates with 18 kills and a .630 hitting percentage in the first set and then kept the Owls off balance with strong serving and a more tempered offense as Clarkson swept Westfield State in the final match of the first day of the Potsdam Regional.

The Golden KnightsĀ ended the first set with a 16-8 run, allowed just six points in the second set thanks to an extended serving run from Kristin Werdine, and raced out to a 15-4 lead in the third set to take three double-digit wins. Maddie Bredehoeft was particularly efficient, striking for 18 kills and a .586 hitting percentage while Kristin Werdine added 10 kills, 14 digs and 4 aces in the win. Isabelle Crow dropped in 43 assists and 11 digs, helping the offense to a .380 hitting percentage overall.Ā Lizzie Taylor was a bright spot for the Owls, doing a solid job in the back row with 18 digs, while Shawna Crowly experienced some success on the outside with 11 kills.Ā Ā
