CROSS COUNTRY
Sam Morse
Senior - Camden, NY/Camden

Sam Morse won the 8,000-meter Hobart Invitational in 27 minutes, 42 seconds as the Clarkson University Men's Cross Country team successfully defended its title Saturday afternoon.


 
 


WOMEN'S TENNIS
Alyssa Breed
Freshman -  Macedon, NY/Palmyra Macedon

Alyssa Breed won singles matches in two matches for Clarkson this week. Breed won individual matches against Potsdam State and St. Lawrence to improve her collegiate record to 5-0 in singles play.


 

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Katelyn Wagner
Junior, Back - Troy, NY/Tamerac

Katelyn Wagner scored one goal and assisted on another to help pace Clarkson to its second win in three games as the Golden Knights defeated Hilbert College 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.






MEN'S SOCCER
Steve Battisti
Junior, Midfielder - Brockport, NY/Brockport H.S.

Steve Battisti scored his first goal of the year and third of his collegiate career to help end Clarkson's losing skid in a 1-1 tie against RIT Saturday afternoon.






VOLLEYBALL
Claire Horvath
Junior, Outside Hitter - South Bend, IN/St. Joseph's

Thanks to 12 kills and eight digs from Claire Horvath, Clarkson extended its winning streak against Potsdam State to 12 straight matches as the Knights beat the Bears in three straight games last Tuesday at Alumni Gym. She also enjoyed a solid game with 15 kills, 11 digs and 4 aces as Clarkson swept through Buffalo State 3-0 at the RIT Inv. on Saturday.

 

 
GOLF
Brian Hoey
Freshman- Auburn, NY/Auburn

Brian Hoey paced Clarkson at Middlebury College's Duke Nelson Tournament shooting a two-day total of 156 (78-78) on the par 71 course over the weekend, finishing tied for 40th out of 120 participants.
