WOMEN'S TENNIS
Alyssa Breed
Freshman -  Macedon, NY/Palmyra Macedon

Alyssa Breed won singles matches in all three matches for Clarkson this week. Breed won individual matches against Plattsburgh State, Rensselaer and Hartwick. The three victories were her first three collegiate starts and earned Breed Liberty League Rook of the Week honors.



VOLLEYBALL
Stephanie Thornton
Senior, Outside Hitter - Corning, NY/Corning East

Stephanie
Thornton became just the third player in the past decade to record over 1,000 kills in her career. Thornton had 48 kills, 45 digs and 8 aces for the week.



 

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Catie Reed
Sophomore, Striker - Lafayette, NY/Tully H.S.

Catie Reed score the team's lone goal in a loss to RIT and added a goal and two assists in a win over Russell Sage. She leads the team with two goals and three assists through five games.



 


MEN'S SOCCER
David Hennessey
Junior, Goalkeeper- Wading River, NY/Wading River H.S.

David Hennessey made eight saves, most sprawling stops, in a 2-0 loss to Geneseo State.






 
CROSS COUNTRY
Kirstin Schillemat
Senior - Nelson, NH/Keene

Kirstin Schillemat led the Clarkson Women's Cross Country team to a second-place finish at the Cardinal Classic with with a third-place time of 24:44 in the 6k race.
 
 
 


GOLF
Ryan Swanson
Freshman- Rochester, NY/McQuaid Jesuit

Ryan Swanson led the Clarkson at the 2005 St. Lawrence University Men’s Golf Invitational over the weekend. Swanson was tied for 22nd with a total of 157 (78-79) on the 6685-yard, par-72 St. Lawrence University Golf Course.
