VOLLEYBALL 

Stephanie Thornton 

Junior, Outside Hitter - Corning, NY/Corning East

- With another outstanding week, junior outside hitter Stephanie Thornton was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week .

Thornton was named Most Valuable Player at the North Country Invitational in which Clarkson went 4-0 to take the championship, losing only one game in four matches. Thornton set a personal best in the match against Buffalo State, converting 12 aces. In the Golden Knights perfect 5-0 week, Thornton had 46 kills, 27 aces and 58 digs in 16 games.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Kirstin Schillemat
Junior - Nelson, NH/Keene

- Kristin Schillemat ,of Nelson, NH, placed second at the Cardinal Classic Cross Country Inviational as the Clarkson University Women's Cross Country took home first place at the Plattsburgh Invitational. The Golden Knights , ranked 7th in the Atlantic Region, placed six of the top nine runners in the women's race.
